FamYarn is a service operated by DSR Media LLC. “FamYarn” is a registered fictitious name (DBA) of DSR Media LLC. In these Terms, “FamYarn,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to DSR Media LLC.

By using FamYarn, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining account security.

4. Use of the Service

You agree to use FamYarn for lawful purposes only.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of your content.

By uploading content, you grant FamYarn and other authorized users the right to:

  • Store
  • Display
  • Share within trees
  • Modify as part of collaboration

6. Shared Trees

Content added to shared trees becomes collaboratively managed.

Other users may edit, reuse, or manage contributions.

7. Media

You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to upload media.

Media may be accessed and reused by other tree members.

8. Public Sharing

You may share deceased individuals via link-based sharing.

You are responsible for what you share.

9. Account Deletion

Account data will be removed.

Shared tree data may persist.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Violate laws
  • Infringe rights
  • Abuse the service

11. Termination

We may suspend accounts for violations.

12. Disclaimer

Service is provided “as is” without warranties.

13. Limitation of Liability

FamYarn is not liable for damages arising from use.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Missouri law.

15. Mobile Messaging (SMS)

If you provide a mobile phone number and opt in, we may send you SMS text messages. Opting in is optional and is not a condition of using FamYarn. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms.
